Dr. Gary J. Gray is a Urologist at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery, co-appointment to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Alberta and Medical Director of Urodynamics in the Capital Health Region.

Dr. Gray completed a Master’s degree in Medical Microbiology and Infectious Disease at the University of Alberta in 1990, then went on to complete medical school training at the University of Calgary in 1993. From 1993 to 1998 Dr. Gray completed his Urology residency training at the University of Alberta. An interest in lower urinary tract reconstruction led to a one year Fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, USA with Dr. Michael Mayo. This Fellowship centered on Urodynamics, lower urinary tract reconstruction and Female Urology.

In 1999, Dr. Gray returned to the University of Alberta to accept a clinical assistant professorship and the Medical Directorship of Urodynamics in the health region. Dr. Gray has a large clinical practice focused on Female Urology and Lower Urinary Tract rehabilitation, and is involved in teaching residents and medical students. Dr. Gray is involved in ongoing clinical research through the University of Alberta, has several publications in peer-reviewed journals and has published one book chapter.
